Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the FollowHire platform (the "Service") operated by Syncfinite Technologies Private Limited, CIN U62099GJ2025PTC166301 ("we", "FollowHire"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. Recruiter accounts must represent a legally constituted business entity with valid identifiers (GST or CIN, where applicable).
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Information you provide must be accurate, current, and complete.
- One user per account. Sharing recruiter seats or selling access to seeker accounts is prohibited.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post fake jobs, fake profiles, or misleading salary information.
- Scrape, copy, or republish job listings or candidate data outside the Service.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages to other users.
- Use the Service to discriminate on grounds prohibited by Indian law (gender, religion, caste, disability, etc.).
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to harm the Service or its users.
5. Job seekers — what you get
- Free use of job search, application tracking, skill-match scoring, and the ATS resume builder.
- Honest application status from recruiters who use the platform's pipeline.
- Your contact details remain masked until a recruiter unlocks them via a paid plan or you apply directly.
6. Recruiters — paid plans
- Plans are listed on /recruiter/plans with current prices in INR (taxes extra where applicable).
- Plan benefits (job-post quota, candidate unlocks, posting visibility) are usage-metered as described on that page.
- Billing is monthly, in advance, via Razorpay. Failed payments may suspend the account until resolved.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Verification
FollowHire performs identity verification on recruiters (GST + CIN + corporate records) and reviews every job before publication. The verification badge reflects our checks at the time of issuance; it is not an endorsement of the recruiter's practices. We may revoke verification at our sole discretion if we discover material misrepresentation or recurring violations.
8. Intellectual property
- The Service, its branding, design, source code, and trademarks are owned by Syncfinite Technologies.
- You retain ownership of the content you upload (resumes, profiles, job descriptions). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, transmit, and process that content solely to operate the Service.
- You represent that content you upload does not infringe third-party rights and complies with law.
9. Termination
You may delete your account from /account/settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for material breach of these Terms, fraud, or legal demand. Sections that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, indemnity, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that listings will result in hires, that applications will receive responses, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, except as required by Indian consumer protection law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FollowHire's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to FollowHire in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Syncfinite Technologies against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Service in violation of law.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. Before formal proceedings the parties shall attempt good-faith resolution by writing to info@followhire.in.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the platform and email, with a new effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
