Refund Policy
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to paid recruiter planspurchased on FollowHire (Pro, Business, and any future paid tier). Job-seeker accounts are free; this policy does not apply to seekers.
2. Cooling-off window
You may request a full refund within 7 calendar daysof plan activation, provided all three of the following are true:
- You have not posted any job under the plan.
- You have not unlocked any candidate contact.
- You have not sent any candidate invite using plan credits.
If any of those have been used, the plan is treated as consumed and a pro-rated refund applies (see section 3).
3. Pro-rated refunds
Outside the 7-day cooling-off window, you may cancel at any time from /recruiter/settings. We will refund the unused portion of the current billing period, calculated as:
refund = monthly_price × (days_remaining / 30) − usage_adjustment
Usage adjustment deducts the per-unit list price of any quota consumed (jobs posted, candidate unlocks used) above the proportional share for the days elapsed.
4. What we cannot refund
- Plans where the cooling-off conditions in section 2 are not met and all monthly quota has been consumed.
- Payment-gateway charges already remitted to Razorpay (typically ~2% — we absorb these for cooling-off refunds, but they are non-refundable on partial-period cancellations).
- GST and other statutory taxes already deposited with the relevant authority. We will issue a credit note for these where the law permits.
- Plans terminated by us for breach of the Terms of Service (fraud, fake postings, harassment).
5. How to request a refund
- Email support@followhire.in from the email address registered on the recruiter account.
- Include the order ID (visible on your billing page) and the reason for the request.
- We respond within 2 business days with eligibility confirmation and the refund amount.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Bank-side credit timelines may add 2–5 days depending on your card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your card issuer before contacting us, we may suspend your account pending resolution. We prefer to resolve disputes directly — please write to us first.
